As an ARC team member, you will get the major benefit of working with several successful Fortune 500 companies while being a key part of a growing, nimble team. With projects varying from regulatory analysis, permit development and review, training, on- and off-site audits, due diligence, and records review, every day and every client offers a unique challenge.
As a Senior Consultant you will:
- Lead and support other staff with air emissions calculations, hazardous material evaluation, safety data sheet reviews, computer modeling software, on-site condition reviews for compliance and permitting in accordance with project requirements and/or public guidelines
- Direct client management and project engineering
- Maintain a strong knowledge base of the current, new, and proposed regulations as they relate to industrial clients and their unique operations with direct client interaction
- Mentor staff and clientele to aid in their understanding and professional development
- -Ensure correctness and completeness of permit applications, plans/procedures, and compliance reporting documents
Qualified candidates are required to have:
- 3-10 years experience working in the environmental permitting and compliance industry
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, and/or Atmospheric/Environmental Science from a four-year college or university
- Strong oral and written communication skills to simplify complex regulations into concise, easy to interpret solutions for clients
- Relevant project experiences in the analysis, interpretation, and application of the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and related environmental laws
This full-time position is located in the Lincoln/Omaha metro area and requires occasional travel to project sites with a base salary compensation of $95-150k, depending on experience.
